Busby Flower Club finally managed to celebrate its 60th (Diamond) anniversary at the Giffnock Bowling Club on Sunday 8th May 2022, albeit the celebration was 2 years late due to recently lifted Covid restrictions.Julie Pearson demonstrated “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” to 85 members and guests, who had previously enjoyed sandwiches, savouries, cakes and scones and a glass of bubbly.

7.15pm Welcome to Busby Flower Club. Please feel free to join us at any of the events listed below, or email us for further information. Busby Flower Club was formed in 1960 and currently has just over 80 members. We meet monthly in Giffnock Bowling Club, 4 Percy Drive, Giffnock, G46 6PA. National or Area Demonstrators produce superb floral displays which are raffled for club funds at the end of the evening. Christmas craft evenings and flower arranging workshops are in the pipeline for the coming months. The club also supports local charities and runs a Christmas Gift scheme.
