AGM 2025 – held at the Coo Shed, Corton, Ayr

Our new chairperson was appointed and members voted on to the committee to carry the club forward for the 2025-2026 session.

A farewell presentation was made to Hilda Cameron, Secretary and thanks given to retiring committee members for their efforts over the last few years.

Following the business meeting the group was treated to a tour of the Coo Shed, including the kitchen, bakery and vending machines. Alison gave a history of the Kerr family farming business and the diversification and innovation which has resulted in such a popular restaurant, gift shop and plant nursery.

The evening finished with tea, coffee and a wonderful selection of Coo Shed traybakes!

Our Club motto is ‘Friendship through Flowers’.

Auchincruive Floral Art Club is a hands-on club where a demonstrator/tutor comes along to our club workshop/meeting

The tutor/demonstrator completes two designs - one with floral foam; one with an alternative option.
Prior to the meeting, members are issued with a list of flowers and accessories to bring along

After the demonstration, we then proceed to complete our own arrangement.
